Energy Partners allows us to turn off your AC compressor during times of extreme electricity demand. Your furnace fan still circulates air in your house during an event, which can occur from noon to 11 p.m., May 15 through Sept. 15. Bill credits depend on cycling option.

Bill credits* and cycling options

• $50: AC compressor may be off up to 6 consecutive hours in a single day.
• $40: AC compressor may be off up to 4 consecutive hours in a single day.
• $12: AC compressor may be off 45 minutes of each hour during a cycling event.

*Bill credits appear between May 15 and Sept. 15. If installation or enrollment is after May 15, you receive prorated credits. Allow 4-6 weeks for installation.
